TIPS

Proof read everything (including design components, spelling, names and grammar) very carefully before approving your proof for printing. Once your approved proof has been submitted to Oh So Swank! the stationery pieces go straight to print.

Starting early is a good rule to live by, especially if you’re having a destination event. Once you have booked your venue and secured your date, you are ready to get started on the invitation suite design process. This will avoid any rush charges and undue stress in the long run.

We recommend that you order 5-10 extra invitation packages to accommodate any last minute additions to your guest list and allow extras for keepsakes. It is more cost effective to order those extra sets now, than incur the extreme cost of reprints later.

When creating your guest list, remember the following guidelines: married couples receive one invitation, families with children also receive one invitation, families with children over the age of 16 receive their own invitation, and etiquette states that you should accommodate an additional guest for each single guest you are inviting. Also, always remember to include the couple, bridal party members and all parents on the guest list as these very important people are frequently forgotten.

Start building your guest list as soon as possible, making sure that all names and addresses are spelled correctly. Remember that all street names “Ten”, all street descriptors (avenue, street, boulevard, etc.), and state names should be spelled out.
